Bill Wheeler - Park Manager

Leaving college in 1987 to embark on a career on countryside management, Bill never expected to one day be working in the Bay of Plenty, managing one of New Zealands most exciting and innovative parks.
That career has never followed any kind of plan but it led to Bill being involved in building tracks, running visitor centres, fighting bush fires, selling Christmas trees and investigating wildlife crime. And then there were all the fun jobs too....
TECT All Terrain Park is for Bill the fulfillment of a dream he had as a young Ranger, somewhere that all sports are welcome, even if they do burn a few dead dinosaurs in the process.
Jarron McInnes - Park Ranger
Not too many jobs come with a house, let alone a very large forest park as its garden. But that’s the reality for Jarron McInnes. Responsible for the day-to-day running and supervision of the park. Jarron says "it’s a dream job".
With 24 years of forestry, logging and fire fighting experience under his belt, as well as helicopter flight training and skills in youth training and forestry management, Jarron is well-equipped to take care of the TECT All Terrain Park.
Jarron lives in the park with his wife and two young boys, two dogs and a rabbit.
