Club four wheel drive activities


Four wheel drive fans will be pleased to know that the Bay of Plenty Four Wheel Drive Club is developing a network of tracks in the TECT All Terrain Park, under the umbrella group of Te Matai Motorsport Incorporated.

In the meantime, you may want to visit the Park to take a look around on road.  You’ll find a park map located at the Arrival Centre at the beginning of Whataroa Road, just inside the entrance to the Park.

Public toilets are located at the motorcycle car park and at the Arrival Centre for your convenience.

There is to be no unauthorised target shooting in the Park.  Hunting is NOT PERMITTED anywhere within the Park boundaries.

There is currently no charge for use of the Park.

The Park main gate is closed at night and opened in daylight hours only.  Summer hours are from 7am to 9pm, including Labour Weekend to Easter.  Winter hours are from 8am to 5pm.
