Mountain Biking

Tracks and facilities for mountain bikers are already available at the TECT All Terrain Park.

The following tracks are currently operational:

  • Mickey Mouse Kids Loop – 0.5km return with dirt jumps and a pump track.
  • Uno Family Loop Track – 2km return on wide track over gentle to undulating terrain.
  • Lookout Drop Track — 6km return, outstanding views with mostly gravel roads on the way up and a dirt track on the way down.  Presents a decent option for those with a need for speed!
  • Buffalo Girl Track — 10km return, intermediate to advanced on dirt tracks, shared with walkers.

Please see the area to the right of this page, for any possible track closures.

Park Staff have developed a new Park Map, which can be found at the Arrival Centre and at the mountain biking area of the Park.  Please see the list of other available maps on our Maps Page.

Public toilets are located at the mountain bike car park and at the Arrival Centre for your convenience.

There is to be no unauthorised target shooting in the Park.  Hunting is NOT PERMITTED anywhere within the Park boundaries.

There is currently no charge for use of the Park.

The Park main gate is closed at night and opened in daylight hours only.  Summer hours are from 7am to 9pm, including Labour Weekend to Easter.  Winter hours are from 8am to 5pm.
